2011 Holiday Photo Sessions… Yes, it really is time to think about it!
Have you booked your holiday photo session?
I know, it is warm and sunny and we are still going to the beach and hanging out at the playground. We don’t want to even THINK about the days of snowsuits, falling leaves, and cold temperatures. But the rainbow in the sky of Winter is Holiday Photo Sessions!
This year, we are beyond excited to offer two new features to our Holiday Sessions.
We are including 50 5×7 Flat Holiday Cards. We will work with you to customize the cards and have them printed and shipped to you. All you have to do is pick the photos and the designs for the cards. Other styles and sizes available for an additional fee.
We are also giving each of our clients a Digital Photo Montage, or as Tiana calls it, A Digital Photo Holiday Card! We will use your session photos and you can send this unique video to your friends, family, and neighbors through your email, facebook, and other social media sites. We will have an example of this up in the next week or so. We made one last year for our family and friends. It was a big hit.
BONUS FOR CURRENT CLIENTS:
Don’t forget that if you have used us for previous sessions, we can use any of those photos for both your holiday card and/or your Digital Montage. Just let us know which ones you want us to include.

Because Brain Tumors Stink
Last night, I volunteered to be the photobooth to take pictures of all the teams, families, and friends, at the Young Associates Board Run for Gus 5K. Run for Gus supports pediatric brain tumor research and activities for children in the hospital.
Tiana actually ran in the race, with Team Dancing Donna, in honor of Donna Quirke Hornik.
Donna was a beautiful little who took dance classes from our friend Shawn. Donna was 4 years old when she passed away becuase of cancer. Last year, we got to meet her parents and her brother for the first time. They hugged us and thanked Tiana for running with them, the treated everyone like family. Although Tiana was not a “runner” this was possibly the most wonderful experience she has ever had. There was even a bonus that she got to run in a tutu! So, of course, she did it again this year, and when they asked me to photograph, I had to say yes!
Donna’s family has started a foundation in Donna’s name, Donna’s Good Things. Their foundation started out giving dance scholarhsips to children. Now, They do so much more, as they continue to grow. Aurav’s 2nd Birthday Party (Birthday Party Photographer | Chicago, IL)
Aurav turned 2, his parents threw him a barnyard themed birthday party and we got to catch all the action!
The party took place at the Randall Oaks Petting Zoo in Dundee Township, IL. Aurav’s Mom made an awesome cake complete with a barn, cows, pigs and ducks which was a big hit with the kids. There was an area where the kids could pet the animals in the barn, and pony rides!
We had a great morning with Aurav and his family. We can’t wait for the family session we have coming up with them!!
Baby E 6 Month Portrait Session (Chicago, IL | On Location Baby Photography)
We photographed Baby E and family at their home where baby E was very comfortable. Baby E was so very curious as to what I was doing and what the camera was. She rarely took her eyes off the camera, which was great, holding her attention was not a problem. Lots of cuddles, tickles and smiles in this family during the session.
Family Photos With Baby Z {Preview} (Family Photography – Lincoln Park | Chicago, IL)
Here is a sneak preview of the session we had with Baby Z and Family. We’ve seen Baby Z and his mom regularly at Bump Club and Beyond events and were beyond thrilled to learn that they were the Mother’s Day “1 Year of Photography” contest winner.

We had a fantastic time photographing K and her parents. K is a full of energy and had lots of fun jumping and running for the camera. Mom and Dad had fun with her and we think these photos show how much fun and love flows through this family! K’s Grandpa was in from out of town and came along to the session, we couldn’t resist getting a few photos of him as well.
The Wieshuber Family 6 Months Later | Family Photography
We got to go back to photograph the Wieshuber family. We did a session with them last fall and it was great to see how much L and V have grown. We jumped around, played in the grass and blew bubbles.

We got to photograph Oliver’s 6 month photo session! After a few photos at his house we walked over to the North Pond area of Lincoln Park and Oliver got to hang out in the swing for a little bit. Can’t wait to photograph Oliver at the park again!
